QualGent’s AI-powered testing platform uses machine learning to automatically understand mobile application user interfaces, identify UI elements, generate test cases, and detect bugs in iOS and Android applications. The AI analyzes application behavior patterns through autonomous agents that interact with your applications to provide intelligent testing recommendations, improve test coverage, and detect defects faster than traditional testing approaches.
We use interactions with Customer applications, including UI structures, user flows, application behavior patterns, bug patterns, screenshots, and testing outcomes, to train, improve, and enhance QualGent’s AI models and testing algorithms. We may create AI embeddings and vector representations from your application screens and interactions to enable our testing capabilities and improve our models. However, we do not use any Customer Application binaries to train AI models.
We implement technical measures to de-identify application-specific data prior to incorporation into training datasets. However, we retain AI embeddings and vector representations derived from your applications indefinitely for model training, evaluation sets, and service improvement purposes, in accordance with applicable laws.
We retain Personal Data to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, provide our Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
We may retain test results, screenshots, test execution data and configurations, and other related data indefinitely to provide ongoing Services, enable product improvement, and train our AI models as provided in this Privacy Policy or your customer contract with QualGent. However, all application files (APK, AAB, IPA) are automatically deleted within 120 days after upload, or earlier upon your request, subject to legal compliance requirements.
We may retain account and billing information for up to 7 years after account closure to comply with tax, accounting, and legal requirements. Additionally, we retain marketing communication data until you opt-out/unsubscribe, plus 2 years to maintain suppression lists.
Customers can request deletion of their data at any time by contacting privacy@qualgent.ai. Subject to your customer contract with QualGent, we will delete your data within 30 days upon request, except where retention is required by law (e.g., billing records, tax compliance) or data has been aggregated or de-identified and can no longer identify you or your organization.
For business customers, specific retention periods and deletion procedures may be governed by your Data Processing Agreement or customer contract, which take precedence over this Privacy Policy where applicable.
We implement comprehensive security measures to protect your Personal Data from unauthorized access, use, disclosure, alteration, and destruction.
Technical Security Measures
We implement comprehensive security measures to protect your data through multiple layers of technical and organizational controls. Technical protections include TLS 1.2+ encryption for data in transit and industry-standard encryption for data at rest, role-based access controls with multi-factor authentication and SSO support, network security measures such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, network segmentation, and DDoS protection, and secure software development practices with regular code reviews, vulnerability scanning, and dependency monitoring.
Third-Party Device Farm Security
Real device testing is performed using third-party device farm infrastructure that we do not own, operate, or directly control. While we use commercially reasonable efforts to select reputable device providers, security protections on third-party device infrastructure may differ from our directly-controlled infrastructure. When you select real device testing, your application files, test data, and credentials may be transmitted to third-party device networks. For enhanced security requirements, you may limit testing to emulator/simulator infrastructure running on our cloud servers.
Your Security Responsibilities
You can help protect your data by:
Choosing strong, unique passwords
Keeping your account credentials confidential
Limiting access to your account to authorized users only
Using test-only credentials (not production credentials) for automated testing
Ensuring test accounts have minimal necessary privileges
Regularly rotating test credentials and API keys
Not uploading applications containing production credentials, API keys, or sensitive Personal Data to testing environments
Properly configuring test environments to prevent interaction with production systems or live data
